You have your process mapped out and you wish to reuse it. Or perhaps you need to make a new process that is similar to another one and it is simply easier if you didn't have to start from scratch. Let me show you how to clone processes to make your work easier.

In order to be able to clone processes, the user needs to have process management rights. There are two ways to clone a process in Gluu:

  1. from the process page

  2. from the process group page

Cloning a process from the process map page

Open the process map you wish to clone. Click on 'Clone' to open the side drawer. You will now select the placement and process details.

  1. The category

  2. The group

  3. Give your clone a name

  4. Process outcome

Cloning a process from the process groups page

You can clone a process from the 'Show groups' page by turning on the edit mode. Select the process you wish to clone and click on 'clone'.

The side drawer will open up and you will select the placement of your cloned process and give it a new name and outcome (as suggested with step 1-4 above).
