Backup of your unsaved changes

In case you forget to save or loose power on your laptop, we auto-save while you are editing and keep a backup of that information. The backup is short term data and will be erased eventually. Only when you save changes, the changes will be kept long term.

Change log

You will find recent changes if they are a backup or a previous version in the change log from the toolbar.

Here is a change log of an activity work instruction.

Restore a backup

Make sure you activate edit mode first. Then open "Change log" and mouse over the item and click on the link showing up.

Click on the link and use the button showing up to restore your work into the editing space.

You can use this for both work instructions and process diagrams. The approach is the same.

TIP! When using the process restore feature, only the actual diagram is restored, not content in activities, so if you made lots of changes to activity content from one process diagram update to another, you will not loose them by restoring an older version of the process.

Restoring specific activities

Should you wish to restore a specific activity without affecting the rest of the diagram - maybe you deleted an activity, made lots of changes to the diagram and then realized that you needed the activity after all - don't worry, it happens and we've got you πŸ˜‰

All you have to do is:

  1. Turn edit mode on (process diagram)

  2. Click the activity restore icon

  3. Choose the activity that you want to restore

  4. Place the activity in the correct position in the diagram

Easy, right?!
