You may want to show the interconnection between your processes and activities. For this purpose, you can add process and activity links. These are dynamic links to other processes. They will open in new tabs when clicked by users. They enable you to:

  • Reuse processes/activities across your account.

  • Show processes/activities that start or end processes.

  • Show how many processes are related.

  • Show exceptions (that start new processes or activities)

  • Create process overviews, or collections of processes.

How to reuse a process or an activity in another process

  1. Click the process icon and drag it to the canvas and position the process link-box on the desired location.

  2. Double click the link box (or click the cog icon) to open the settings of th activity link.

  3. Type a few letters to search for the process that you want to add as a link.

  4. Select the process or one of its activities.

The selected process will now open in a new tab when the user clicks on the process link-box.
