In your Gluu account you have 3 types of feeds:

In this article you will get an introduction to all 3, but first, a few general things:

  1. The feeds all show the newest information at the bottom of the feed, making it easy for you to get an overview of anything new that has happened since your last visit.

  2. The feed entries are colour coded according to their type, meaning that versions have a dark blue ribbon, process changes have a green ribbon and change suggestions have an orange ribbon. The only entry type without a coloured ribbon is comments. This allows you to differentiate the entry types at a glance and navigate easily to the one, you are looking for as shown in the picture below.

  3. There is a navigation bar to the far right in the process and account feeds, which lets you navigate swiftly to other parts of the feed as well as showing you when version, process change and change suggestion entries were made in a simple overview. The navigation bar entries are colour coded just like the detailed entries in the feed.

TIP! Looking for information on how to restore old versions of processes or activities? Take a look at: Recover unsaved changes and previous versions

The account feed

To access the account feed, you have to click the 'Feed' option in the left-hand menu. You can do that from anywhere in Gluu, where the menu is showing, as long as you are ABOVE process level.

The account feed shows you all new versions made for processes that you are a part of (owner, editor, member) as well as any comments and change suggestions made. This is in other words an overview of all changes and comments related to all processes relevant to you.

The process feed

You will find the process feed on any given process page in the left-hand menu and when you click it, you will see a feed showing you all the versions, comments, process changes and improvement suggestions made on the specific process. So, this does not show you information from other process, only from the process you are currently looking at.

Also, you have the option of leaving a new comment or change suggestion or commenting on existing comments or change suggestions, if you are a process member, editor or owner. This is a great way to participate in process improvements with your team!

Activity feed

The activity feed is located on the individual activities in the left hand menu. This is where you go, if you want to know what has happened in a particular activity. maybe you want to see, when the most recent change was made and who did it, or maybe you want to leave a comment or a change suggestion related to the work instruction in the activity.

You can do all that in the activity, which only shows you what is relevant for the specific activity you are looking at.

TIP! If you leave a comment in the activity feed, it will automatically show in the process feed as well.
